1. Acknowledge existence of the problem.

2. Communicate to the school administration to get their support in rallying the parents through the PA rep.

4. Communicates the facts about sexual abuse.

5. Reach out to the local administration to reinforce the same message and prevention.

6. In school, dessiminate the information to learners, teachers and support staff.

ACTION PLAN FOR SEXUAL HEALTH EDUCATION

Staff meeting and discuss on how to carry out the program in school.

Do assessment for a period of two weeks both in school and in the community

1) A guidance and counseling sessions every Thursday from 16.00 hrs    to 17.00hrs

2) Pastoral guidance and counseling session every Wednesday from 7.00 am to 7.45 am.

Topics will be given to the speakers on every Wednesdays and Thursdays. the same topic will be discussed each from psychology view point and from pastoral view point.

Topics to be discussed are as follows

  week3.  Effect of sexual abuse

  week 4  How to say to sexual abuse

  week 5  How to help victims of sexual abuse

speakers for all sessions are resource persons from teaching profession, parents, pastors and imams who work closely with the school.

 Preparing awareness banners to be read or displayed in churches and common areas like walls where children prefer to play,chiefs and barazas,inisting that when children are in danger they should shout ,when school is closed,children not to be taken to relatives homes .CHILDREN to remain with parents and parents to protect their children from  some relatives.parents also need to provide basic needs like food and safe shelter to avoid leaving children in venurable situations.Parents to keep their sexual life private,not to influence their children sexual activity .Children need to be encouraged to move in groups for their own security.Children need to be guided on positive use of media. They need to be advised not to post or watch pornographic material to avoid emotional abuse.
